Prepare to loop the loop in this fantastic flying experience (UK Wide)
Take to the skies for a fairground ride that takes light aircraft flying to its limits. Experience classic aerobatic manoeuvres such as rolls, loops and spins. You think 'turn' and you turn. You think 'roll' and you roll. Turn it upside down and it flies just as if it were right side up. Each flight is an exhilarating, awesome experience so sit back and prepare to hold on!
Location : Lancashire (North West), Gloucestershire, Devon (South West), Essex, West Sussex (South East)
Agenda : Before leaving for the aerodrome please call to ensure that the weather conditions are suitable for flying. Please arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before your start time. On arrival at the venue you will receive a full safety briefing. The flight will last around 20-25 minutes. You should expect to be at the venue for around one and a half hours in total. The aircraft at Lancashire, Gloucestershire and Essex will be a Slingsby T-67 Firefly - maximum weight is 16 stone at these locations. The aircraft at Devon and West Sussex will be a World War 2 'Chipmunk' - maximum weight is 14 stone at these locations.
Notes : On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months. You are then free to pick your preferred location and arrange a mutually convenient time for your flight with the operator. No previous flying experience is required. There are no age restrictions but please note that you should be agile, as embarking and disembarking is difficult and requires flexibility. Maximum height is 6'4''. Maximum weight is 14 or 16 stone depending on the location chosen. You should wear soft soled shoes and bring gloves in cold weather. Please be advised this may not be suitable for persons who are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, recurrent fainting, giddiness or blackouts, high blood pressure, or heart conditions. For their own safety diabetics may be required to produce a medical certificate. Disabled participants are welcome (please discuss with the operator). Cameras can be used on the day and on the ground by relatives, even around the planes, but they are prohibited inside the cockpit for safety reasons. Spectators are welcome at no additional cost. Anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian to be with them on the day.
