Introductory Tank Driving
Indulge the soldier in you during a session filled with the military's latest toys.
After a safety briefing you'll find yourself at the controls of three amazing military vehicles. Then you'll get to watch one side show which could be a look at the weapons inside the armoury, an 18th century mortar and musket demonstration or SAS woodland patrol experience, depending on which is available. You even get a ride in a Hagglund and 432. At the end of the day, the best driver gets to crush a car with a 56 ton Chieftain tank! Looking the part in a camouflage suit and helmet, you're in for four solid hours of army fun.

Agenda : Your introductory tank driving experience includes: * Full military uniform (which you get to keep!) * Safety briefing * A drive in three military vehicles * One side show: a view of the weaponry in the armoury, SAS woodland patrol or 18th flintlock century musket and mortar demonstration (this depends on which show is available) * A ride in a Hagglund and 432 * Crushing a car in a 56 ton Chieftain Tank for the best driver! *
Notes : On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months. The minimum age for this activity is 13; the minimum height is 5'2". You should be reasonably fit, and don't need a driver's licence. The experience will last approximately four hours, from either 9am to 1pm or 2pm to 6pm on Saturdays from March to October. There will be up to 30 people participating, and spectators are welcome at a fee of £10 each (payable on the day and includes two vehicle rides). Please inform the supplier in advance if you intend to bring spectators. Bring wellies and gloves as it gets very muddy!
