Experience the amazing sensation and speed of driving a Formula Ford 1600 Single Seater (Leics)
This experience offers you a great introduction to the art of motor racing. After familiarising yourself with the track over five laps in a hot hatch, you will be able to slip into the driver's seat of a Formula Ford 1600 Single Seater racing car for six thrilling laps, allowing you to really get to grips with this incredible machine.
Location : Leicestershire (Midlands)
Agenda : Welcome, introduction and briefing on circuit driving techniques; familiarisation laps and 5 driving laps in a hot hatch with your instructor; 6 laps driving a Formula Ford 1600 Single Seater racing car; Autotest; Individual driver assessment and certificate presentation. Experience lasts around 4 hours.
Notes : On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months, you are then free to contact the venue to book a day for your experience. Courses take place at 12noon and 12.30pm on selected Saturdays throughout the year. Drivers shorter than 5'0" or taller than 6'6" and/or weighing more than 16 stone may have some difficulty being accommodated. Participants must be 18 or over and must have a full UK driving licence which they have held for at least a year.
